How IrishBICs collects, uses, and looks after personal information on irishbics.ie. Last updated 9 September 2026.
irishbics.ie is the public website of IrishBICs, the network of Business Innovation Centres that support early-stage and scaling companies across Ireland. The network includes AxisBIC, Furthr, Propelor, and WestBIC.
For questions about this website, use the contact options on Who we are or speak to your local BIC. Programme applications are handled by the relevant BIC and, where applicable, Enterprise Ireland. Those organisations have their own privacy notices.
This site is built and hosted on Webflow. Pages, the CMS (news, success stories, FAQs, and related collections), forms, and published files are served from Webflow and its content delivery network. The site also uses Adobe Fonts (Typekit) for typography and Cloudflare as part of Webflow's delivery stack.
Black Pug Studio designs, builds, and maintains irishbics.ie on behalf of IrishBICs. In that role they may access the Webflow project, CMS content, and site settings in order to publish updates, fix issues, and keep the site secure. They are a service provider to IrishBICs, not a separate public-facing controller for your enquiries. Website: blackpugstudio.com.
We may collect:
Information you send through website forms, such as name, email address, organisation, and message text.
Technical information needed to run and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and security or error logs held by the hosting provider.
Analytics information only if you accept non-essential cookies. That can include pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and a random client identifier. After you Accept we load Google Analytics 4 (G-2ZFTY6NBHQ) and Google Tag Manager (GTM-5M5B2DDF). GTM may run extra tags in addition to the site GA4 tag. Neither loads until you press Accept on the cookie banner.
We use personal information to reply to enquiries, operate and secure the website, publish the content you see, and, with your consent, understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell personal information.
Where the GDPR applies we rely on: taking steps at your request (for example answering a form), our legitimate interests in running a secure public website, and consent for non-essential cookies and analytics. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time.
Webflow, Inc. hosts the site and may process form submissions and logs. After cookie Accept, Google Ireland / Google LLC process data as a processor for the site Google Analytics 4 tag, Google Tag Manager, and any additional tags in that container. Adobe may process limited technical data for font delivery. Cloudflare may process traffic data as part of delivery and security. Black Pug Studio may see enquiry or CMS data while maintaining the site. We may also share information with the BIC best placed to help you, or if the law requires it.
Some of these providers are in the United States. Where that involves a transfer outside the EEA, they rely on their own transfer tools (such as standard contractual clauses) as described in their privacy notices.
Essential cookies remember your cookie choice and keep the site working. Analytics cookies are optional. See the cookie policy and the banner on this site. After you Accept, Google Analytics 4 (G-2ZFTY6NBHQ) and Google Tag Manager (GTM-5M5B2DDF) load. GTM tags are additional to the site GA4 tag. Google acts as a processor for that data.
Form enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted or anonymised. Hosting and security logs follow the provider's retention. Analytics data, if you consented, is retained according to the Google Analytics property settings.
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection, and you can withdraw cookie consent. You can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
